Over at The Weather HQ, the team have just received news that the Glengoyne website launched at the end of last year has been nominated in the category of ‘Best Website (use of visual design)’ for the 2016 DADI Awards. Everyone is pretty chuffed that it managed to get shortlisted, especially when it is going up against the likes of Robinsons and HSBC.
Hopefully it’s somewhat clear from the case study that I wrote just after launch about the amount of work that we put into converting their old website into a new, refreshed online presence.
For me personally, I spent a lot of time considering the best way in which to not only present the content, but also how to try and direct users around their new website. Considering the demographic that was being targeted, this could have proved somewhat challenging, as they had grown accustomed to a certain layout for so long.
Anyway, to to receive any sort of recognition for the hours spent working on it is very much appreciated.
We just have to wait until the 19th October to see if we win or not. Fingers crossed!
